What an atmosphere! People, loud music, a ring! Caius was in heaven! He hadn’t felt this way since he played ball. [break][break]

Standing in the middle of the ring in some pretty standard wrestling gear the big blonde was prepared to deal out a beat down to whoever walked down the ramp and got in the ring with him. Hands interlaced he popped his knuckles as he stood in one corner of the ring. [break][break]

He went through the stretches, working his legs and arms as he loosened up for the fight. There was a big fight feel and he hadn’t even seen who he was matched up against yet. Caius didn’t quite remember what sort of match it was, a tag team match maybe? That, or a tables match. He signed up so quickly he didn’t even read the details of the match. [break][break]

The gear he picked up was a pair of shorts, boots and knee pads. He was so ready, no matter who he got his hands on tonight they were getting smashed.

the atmosphere of the ring was electric indeed. however with the blasting of loud and obnoxious music the arena ignited into more cheers as pyrotechnics exploded into streams of flame that pierced the dark as two hooded figures appeared from within. The only features people could make out was the two furry muzzles that poked out from under and not much else as the two made their way ringside and one of them slid into the ring under the ropes. as they came up the hoods came off revealing two incineroars, both with cocky grins on their faces as the one inside the ring threw off their cloak revealing not an incineroar but an actual man. the other one was in fact a real legit incineroar tho.

the man was just as big and tall as his opponent and even sported similar gear with the exception being his color coded to match his partner and the obvious feline mask he wore on his head. he made a quick gesture of pointing at caius and then sliding a thumb over his neck as he brought up the mic he held on to his mask. "thought i was gonna be facing a machamp out here tonight! but they send a big ol' teddiursa like you instead? cuddling's competition next town over mate!" the jeers and boos from the crowd were drowned out by the sound of the incineroar's roars trying to tell the crowd that they can go shove it. "i mean i like hugs as much as the next guy, but mate yer gonna end up with bruises instead of love n' care if you don't leave my ring."

that felt like an improvement in his trash talk if he did say so himself.

As nice as all of the fanfair was Caius didn’t budge. Internally he was fanboying out of his mind, this guy, his opponent looked cool coming down to the ring dressed like a Pokemon, but he wouldn’t admit his delight in their entrance. [break][break]

Arms crossed Caius waited for Shinra Redgrave to make his first move, though instead of opting for a full on battle it was revealed that one of the Incineroar could talk. That was until Caius realized that the person speaking wasn’t a Pokemon but a man in a mask. It was a dang good masks. [break][break]

Then came the insults. The incineroar faced man began throwing jabs at Caius, calling him a cuddler of all things. Speaking about hugs calling into question Caius’ ability as a wrestler perhaps? Now this was wrestling. [break][break]

The big blonde smiled and began his retort as a microphone was handed to him, “What’s wrong with cuddling?” he asked, Caius for one did like to cuddle. “Ya know all of this is big talk for a man hiding behind a mask. You keep calling me a soft but which one of us came out here with a synchronized routine and a cuddly kitty?” he pointed at the incineroar, “looks like to me you’re less concerned with being a wrestler and more concerned with looking pretty twinkle toes. But if you’re not here to talk trash put the mic down and lets do this.” he threw his microphone down as he waited for retort, readying himself for the upcoming fight.

dante took visible offense to that remark about being cuddly as he climbed up the side of the ring and shook the ropes as he growled at Caius from ringside. shinra just chuckled at the sight of his partner getting worked up like that, at least this guy could play along with them with his own words. that was good, they had to make this an interesting show after all! "I'd watch what ya say. my buddy ain't as nice as i am. but!" he never said he was nice either.

the mic dropped from his hands as he rushed Caius reaching him from his side of the ring within a few steps. his arm was up to his chest and the muscles within tightened as he got close and swung it in a vicious chop aimed right for the blonde man's chest. the guy looked pretty tough so shinra was curious just how much he could take, grappling wasn't really much of his style anyway. brute force was the way to go for him and his claws were primed and ready to rip into this guy.

even if the chop was a bust he would still press forward, not only taking another step to make sure whatever distance between them was as minimal as possible and followed it up with a powerful jab. this one aimed right at the blonde's solar plexus.

Caius barely had time to react, big red rushed him and rushed him hard. First thing he felt was a quick sting across his chest. His hands almost retreated to his pecs but before he could his opponent jabbed him in his solar plexus. This time around he wouldn’t retreat so easy.

The big blonde was hunched over the punch, the punch didn’t hurt. No, but it did make him feel something. It felt good. Maybe he was overacting for the actual blow, or maybe this one jab did make him crumble for a second but regardless the reason he felt ready after it.

As soon as Shinra Redgrave withdrew his fist Caius stormed into him like a crazed animal. There was no strategy, no planning he simply wished to get hit again. If there was no counter he’d simply gore them with everything he had, his right shoulder being HAMMERED into big red’s abdomen in a relentless spear. If it connected properly he’d roll onto his feet and beckoned them up so he could do it again. If they did counter however he’d go with their flow, desiring more intensity.

a grin spread across shinra's face as he watched the big guy hunch over. he would never admit it but he did sort of enjoy seeing his opponents reel back after one of his hits. there was something about it that itched the part of his brain that made him confident. seeing the other guy suddenly charge at him was just adding to it, it always helped to have an opponent that was just as enthusiastic as himself to go against. it meant he could go all out.

he felt the full weight of @gawdzilla hit him with full force but he wouldn't let it knock him down. the moment he felt it connect he pushed back, keeping him in place just barely as his feet were pushed back against the mat a few centimeters. he should have expected such a big guy like Caius to be heavy, but shinra lifted heavier.

he quickly reached his arms over the blonde and wrapped them around the guy's upper torso and began to lift. if he was successful then he would try to lift the guy up into the air and bring him back down into a backdrop and slam the blonde flat onto his back if possible. if it didn't work then he was pretty much open to being flung himself or worse if his opponent so inclined.

He was so lost in his charge that he hadn’t even noticed the other man was barely budging from his shoving. He pushed on and on but to no avail did his gore failed. That wouldn’t stop him however. When he felt his opponent’s arms wrap around his torso he’d mimic the gesture wrapping his arms around their shoulders and locking his hands together. [break][break]

When Caius felt himself get hefted up he’d try his luck doing the same to Mr. Incineroar, if he was able he wouldn’t be the only one going down. Flinging himself to the right he’d drag them down with him into the ropes where if Jintaro didn’t stop himself they’d both spill to the outside of the ring.

he could feel the weight of his opponent be lifted off the ground and was ready to slam him onto the mat with all of his strength. he wasn't ready to feel his shoulders be gripped and suddenly his balance shifted and now the two fell into the ropes. shinra knew that if he wasn't quick he was going to end up out of the ring, so he had to let go of Caius and hook his arm around the middle rope to stop himself from falling out of the ring.

as he landed on his butt he quickly rolled around and got to his feet and faced Caius, a glare coming from his eyes but a smile coming from his face. this guy was good, but Shinra was better. he hunkered himself down and waited for the blonde wrestler to get back onto his feet before making his next move. if he got back to his feet then Shinra would rush in and aim a powerful drop kick at his face if possible. Perhaps if he aimed it right then he might actually push Caius out of the ring instead of both of them going out.

What was he tasting right now? Coins? He couldn’t quite put his finger on it, but he there was a gentle trail of crimson down his jaw after the masked man’s kick. Caius had hardly noticed what had happened besides he was tasting in his own blood right now. It had all happened so quickly he hardly noticed the big red man kick him despite having now been standing by the apron. [break][break]

The last thing he remembered was falling out of the ring alone, then a pair of feet hit him in the face. Regardless of how he got here the metallic taste in his mouth pissed him off. Had the other man not gotten up or moved from besides the ring Caius would grab him by his ankles and forcefully drag him off of the apron and onto the outside. Not stopping there he’d forcefully swing them by their heels at the barcade outside of the ring with a guttural howl and iron grip. [break][break]

The barricade was a black rail, a sort of wall like fence that separates the fans from the ring with a space in between. It was hard and unforgiving. Tossing the man’s feet out of the way, had the swing worked Caius temporarily retreated away from the other wrestler, now beside the steel steps.
